Ive been trying to figure this out and if ye can help me i be very grateful. I took out a mortgage in my own and my mothers name in Dec 2003 to help her do up the family home as she was to old to be given a mortgage. I never claimed TRS on this as i have not lived there so was not entitled to it. I have now purchased my own home and am having problems claiming TRS on the mortgage. What TRS am i entitled to on my new home? From what i can see i should be entitled to full TRS on this mortgage. All help appreciated.
