Travel republic website / gala hotels website

Hi, I'm thinking of booking a hotel through either of the websites:

Travelrepublic.ie or
Gala Hotels site

does anybody know if these are reliable sites, just a bit cautious of booking when you hear some horror stories from other people.............although i've never heard any stories specifically in relation to these sites?

any help gratefuly received......
 
I have used travelrepublic many times and never had a problem. I have never used the other site
 
Travelrepublic are good - but once booked then there's no monebsck if cancelled, despite terms and conditions. Even if you are entitled to some back it's eaten up in admin fees.
Most other sites allow better cancellation terms and conditions.

However, if you are sure you will definitely not cancel then they really have brilliant deals.
I never had an issue with them and have never found cheaper deals than with them either.

Also used travelrepublic several times without any problems. Check travelrepublic.co.uk too, I got accommodation on that last year that wasn't available on the .ie version at the time
