Tourist Gift/Souvenir Shop in existing retail unit, 9mo left on lease in Tourist Town

Hi All

Just looking for an opinion.

I have an existing retail unit in a Tourist town with 9 months left on the lease. I am in the process of moving my main business to a new unit in the town so I am looking for some idea to pay the rent.

As it is a Tourist town and the location of the unit is pretty good I was thinking of a Tourist Gift/Souvenir Shop. You know the usual Plastic Paddy shop

Any opinion would be appreciated

If you can get stock in fast enough seems like a logical idea. Could it not be sublet?

I can sublet but it would be difficult to get a tenant until christmas.
