My house is timber frame. The vents around the fascia and certain other gaps alllow too much cold air to circulate into the cavities.Surely this defeats the purpose of economically heating the house.Draughts can be felt around the internal window frames which I assume comes down the cavities from the attic.Would it be ok to insulate/block the cavity where the timber meets block in the attic just to prevent the air flow?
