Tiling Question

Hello all

I have just about finished tiling my bathroom, and need to find out where I can get tiles which are used to seal around the bath. I think that they are called Quattro tiles.

These tiles are concave blocks (the width of a tile), and were used before the plastic 'Sealastrips' to prevent water seeping between the bath and the wall. I have tried the larger retailers i.e. Woodies, B&Q, Tubs and Tiles etc, but they did not stock them.

Any ideas?

Thanks

If you're tiling to a plastic bath I wouldn't recommend using those tiles. They're less common now because they don't work very well. Plastic baths move due to the weight of water or people showering in them, the plastic sealing strips such as Sealux move with this maintaining the seal. These tiles won't have any give, so eventually the seal will fail.

Some of the more specialist tile suppliers (Tile Style, Tile Savers, Right Price Tiles, etc.) should stock these though.
