I was at the 50+ exhibition in the RDS and picked up these two very helpful looking guides.

The Jan 2024 edition of Your guide to our Schemes and Services : Retired and Older People.
From the Department of Social Protection.

This guide gives, out of date information, on the Contributory State Pension.

No information is included about the new system, allowing people to defer their pension up to age 70.

There is a section in the guide on Prsi.

The guide doesn't state that many people are now required to continue paying Prsi up to age 70.

There is no mention of class K Prsi.

This is the very complex non reckonable class that is applied to the rental and investment income of the majority of people.(charged at 4%)

The Guide to entitlements for over sixties from the Citizens Information Board, is also out of date and doesn't include the new rules for deferral of the Contributory State Pension up to age 70.
