Tesco clubcard issue

I have a small issue with my tesco club card. I have no idea what the number is or where it is.

I cant login online as the website wont let me add my mobile for 2fa and instead asks for digits from club card (that i dont have). I tried calling and again asks for my clubcard number (which i dont have). Have emailed tesco and gotten no reply.

any ideas?

Try calling. When you are asked for the clubcard number just input random digits. Usually when the correct number isn't imputted after a limited time it connects you to an operator.

When I had a Clubcard issue I contacted them via Twitter private message - after a few to and fros it was all happily sorted. Fast response every time - very impressive.

We purchased some alcohol recently in Tesco and availed of the Clubcard discount on the purchase.

We noticed that we were not given any Clubcard points for this purchase.

Was it because we purchased alcohol or was it because we availed of the lower price associated with the Clubcard purchase?

Yes. Shops can do offers on alcohol, but under irish law, you can't get points.
