terms of employment contract

I started a new job last december and signed the usual employment contract.

Terms of contract says that I am on one months trial.

Im going into 3rd month now and no sign of a new contract. What does that mean? Does that mean I am permanent. Job is meant to be long term anyway but just wondering how safe is it.

Should I look for a new contract?

no that would have been your contract, but the 1 month trial would have been your probation period there is no need to get a new contract but it would do no harm to have but as far as i am aware your still there so your ok job wise noe
