Term time working and sick leave

Does anyone know what would happen if you are out on long term sick leave with a critical illness but are due to go on term time? Would you stay on sick and defer the term time? You are already being deducted the pay over the course of the year.

Expect rules for sick leave take precedence. Your prior deduction for term time can be refunded in due course
