Tax back working in India?

A friend of mine has been offered the chance to work in India for 6 months beginning in September. As she'll be out of the country for more than 90 days in 2005, will she get her tax back for the entire year?

In 2006 she'll be out of the country for maybe around 60 days - is she entitled to any tax back then?

This will be a factor in deciding whether or not to go as she's buying an apartment at the moment and so the money would come in very handy.

If the 90 Days are concurrent , then yes. FED stopped in 2004, this was if you were out of country for 11+ days, you could accumulate these trips , and get a rebate from TAX Office.

You will need to pay tax in Country that you are working in.Is quite a complicated procedure getting tax back in new system, ring Tax Office and ask full procedure for India.
