I am trying to hook up a hose to a kitchen tap and in turn connect to pressure washer. The majority of the connectors on the market are poor. Would anyone have a solution to keep the hose on the tap without leaking/popping off occuring? Thanks. Can a pressure washer work from a barrel of water ?

I'm afriad not, my experience with indoor taps reflects yours and I have a proper outdoor tap plumbed in.

I'm afraid not. Domestic power washers rely on water pressure for the inlet and have no ability to "suck" or pump water in. Unless you have a tap to connect to low down on the barrel this won't work.

Certain commercial washers have pumps on the inlet and outlet sides.

Both came from 4homes but they're fairly widely available.
