Swedex Wooden Windows

This was last a thread in 2007.
I was wondering how people have found these windows?
I had a number installed in 2003.They were made of Arctic Pine.
Two on an external south facing wall are now completely rotten and will have to be replaced.
What are others experience?!

Softwood is not suitable for our Irish Climate - Damp Atmosphere. Hardwood is the only wood suitable for external use in Ireland.

That was my concern prior to installing them.
But a local builder and the Swedex rep (obviously) said they would do well here!!!
I know others have installed them and I was wonðering how they fared!!
As its a Georgian house would teak or mahogany be better?
