Stepping down from 220volts to 110volts

My wife recently bought an appliance from the USA (an ultraviolet gel curing light) It is 36watts and runs off 110volts.
Is there some sort of transformer I can get for her to adjust the current so that it will work here? Thanks...
 
I bought one through eBay at a very good price compared to the prices I was quoted in Dublin.

I've seen all different types, very cheap ones about the size of an adaptor and bigger more elaborate ones. just wondering if the 36watts has anything to do with the type I choose?
 
Nope. Watts is the power consumption
which is based on volts * current if I'm not mistaken.

You need a step down transformer. I bought one in totterdells for €35
