Apologies I posted this in the wrong section previously; I purchased a Stanley Donard range in July 2015. Yesterday morning I was riddling the grate after previous days fire and the centre section of the grate fell into the ash bin underneath. I cant believe it burnt out so quickly. I use Ecobrite and some wood as fuel. I had a Stanley for nearly 20 years prior to this one and the grate lasted 12/13 years prior to replacement. I was wondering if anyone had a similar experience...when people say they don't make things like they used to I didn't think it was to that degree.
