Hi all,

Can anyone advise on the following.

I am selling a house that I ahve payed the stamp duty on when I bought it!!

I want to sell it now,and am wondering if the new buyer would be liable for stamp duty again!I f they are not of course 1 st time buyers!

Value of house €240k approx



Any assistance would be greatly apprieacted,

Short answer is yes, if they don't qualify for a FTB exemption, then they have to cough up the appropriate amount of stamp duty.
 
Thanks for that,I was under the impression that once there was stamp duty payed on the house it diddnt apply any longer!
