Spousal Maintenance

I have mentioned on a couple of previous threads my marital woes so I won't bore you all again.

I have spoken to different barristers and solicitors with regard divorcing my ex. In all cases I have been told to leave well enough alone as I was hoping to seek a settlement figure.

If I do not divorce my wife am I entitled to spousal maintenance or is this also a non runner for men?

Its a matter of the assets and liabilties of both.

That said, if you have been paying to speak to all these solicitors and barristers (maybe they were freebies) you would have had your 'settlement' by now.
