Spot Prize Ideas please

I've a budget of 2k to spend on spot prizes for a company function with 350 employees. I've been asked to make them 'wow'. Any suggestions at all would be welcome. I've no intention of having one for everybody in the audience!

Well consumer electrics are very cheap (as opposed to to weekend breaks and short holidays). So maybe something like this:

9 Acer 128MB MP3 Players @ €31 each = €279 (see )
3 Creative 512MB MP3 players with Radio @ €90 each = €270 (see )
2 Sony DVD players @ €76 each = €152 (see )
1 Casio digital cameras @ €281 = €281 (see )
1 Philips 23'' LCD TV @ €657 = €657 (see )
2 Nights B&B at the Galway Harbour Hotel for 2 people on 10th/12th September @ €358 = €358 (see [broken link removed])

Thats a total of €1,997 with 17 prizes ranging from cheap (acer mp3 pleyer) to great prizes (philips tv).

Oh and you could order a case of wine from http://www.winesdirect.ie, the Case of the Month costs €141.05 and has 12 different bottles in it. That would make 12 or 6 decent spot prizes (it's proably safest to give it out in pairs of red and white because some people would prefer one to the other... what ever you think).
