Hi all,

I have an air vent in my sitting room which is letting in a lot of sound, I can easily hear anyone talking outside.

Is there anything that can be done to add soundproofing to it?

Thanks,
Neil.

Can you tell me what this might look like? or how easy/difficult it might be to fit?

I have a similar problem with the bedrooms in my house (noise that is)
thanks

I had a look in b&q for something that might reduce the sound but they didn't have anything suitable.

Any other ideas?

Try a proper builders providers, it may not be a regular stock item, but they should be able to source one.

Can i jump in here too, i have a vent for the extractor fan, it's the standard lourve type on that opens when its working, problem is when it is windy it opens and closes by itself causes an awful racket, is there alternatives to this?
