Solicitor's fees for sale of property

I was quoted 0.65% of sale price + VAT + outlay by my solicitor for a property that is likely to fetch about 375K. From searching these forums, I get the impression that I could do a lot better elsewhere.

Can anyone recommend a solicitor with competitive pricing?
