I got a letter in the post today from my bank stating that the solicitor whom I used when I took out my mortgage didnt furnish the bank with the title deeds of the property. I am seriously in arears. Does this mean that the bank are looking for the deeds to repossess or is it just coincidental that this is happening now.

The banks legal department hold the deeds as security for the mortgage,so they are probably following up on their security which is normal procedure.
If you are in arrears please provide further details for assessment.

Odd the bank wrote to you. That solicitor is liable if he didn't do what he signed up for. And if the bank has no deeds it's going to make it difficult to enforce the security. You've given no details on arrears or your conversations with the bank.
