Sole Trader V's Ltd Company

Hi,

I am in the process of doing work for a company in a sales/consultancy basis. They wish to pay me non paye and have suggested to me going the route of self employed as a sole trader or set up as a company. I would like to know which one is more advantageous in regards to tax and on a legal perspective.
