Small Aircon unit

Hi Folks,

Looking for recommendations for a small air con unit for our master bedroom - the bedroom is west facing so gets the sun from roughly 1 onwards and is generally between 22 and 25 degrees every night at the moment which is far too hot for our 9 week old baby.

We've tried closing the blinds/curtains and having the windows open whilst we're there but it doesn't have much of an effect on the humidity in the room. Ideally I'm looking at a portable window ac unit.

I don't want to get a standard fan as it will only end up blowing the hot air around the room!

We have a [broken link removed] - it's about 2ft high x 1ft wide & cost us €50 from Power City. It does make a wee bit of noise but as with anything you get used to it after a few days. It does work though... I've been using it nightly with the humid weather
 
My daughter slept in just her nappy last year when the room was 27 degrees. She was about 3 months old.
