skype help

Hi, any skype experts out there? i have a sony vaio running window's vista and skype crashes every time I try to send video. I can see callers but they can'tsee me and teh programme crashes within seconds. voice calls work no problem

See this - I read it recently on a forum:


"I plugged in another webcam and installed the diver. Then started skype, chose USB webcam as default, saved the settings, closed skype and unplugged the spare webcam. my vaio webcam now seems to work."

Thanks... it turned out I simply hadn't selected USB - had left it on the default blue tooth setting! So all good now and I have more ways to waste time on line...
