Skiathos

Hi

Just wondering if you found out anything about this place or
if you have been on the holiday yet and how you found it?
Thinking of booking a holiday there for 2 adults and 2 young
teenagers.

I was there with my wife last year stayed just outside Skiathos town, in the evening got the ferry into the town and ferry home at around midnight, nice restaraunts and places to eat, hired a car the island is small so 2 days you will see everything, there is a beautiful monastery on the mountains above Skiathos it as well worth the trip the views are brill and we had lunch up there overlooking the island, and we also hired a boat and went to the islands of skiathos and had lunch over there, peaceful and chilled place stay away from the main beach it is too overcrowded supposedly one of the best beaches in the med.A week was enough, people friendly.Enjoy.
 
I was there June 2007,it was lovely and relaxing.
The Island isn't a thriving metropolis or anything but for a weeks holiday it is perfect.
There are a few nice restaurants,some beaches, and it is a family friendly place.
We went on some boat trips too,they are definitely worth it:)
