Shower door sealing top hollow metal sides

Just wondering if this kind of thing exists.
Normally a shower door for an enclosed shower unit is sealed only on the outside so that any condensation can run down the hollow metal sides (inside) and run into the shower tray. Due to either bad installation or whatever, we have had to seal on the inside also to prevent leaks. I expect condensation will still form but now will have nowhere to escape, so was thinking it would make sense to close up the hollow metal sides at the top to prevent this. Does anyone exist that will cover these hollow metal sides at the top?

Could you drill a small hole inside at the bottom so it will drain back into the tray
