Sent 9k to New Ireland by mistake.

As per heading I sent money to New Ireland by mistake from my Ptsb account. I contacted Ptsb and gave details. They informed me that they would send one letter requesting the funds be returned to my account. After that it would be up to me to follow up.
Ptsb also advised me to go to my local BOI as they own new Ireland and see if they could also send on request for return of funds. This I did.
My only dealings with New Ireland in the past was sending on funds to top up pension. The company pension has now been taken over by Irish Life the last few years.So no dealings with New Ireland for some time.
Any pointers on who I could contact in New Ireland directly. Have Iban tranaction code etc. Thanks.

I doubt that a branch of Bank of Ireland would sort it out. That is only putting another chain in the link and BoI is fairly useless with customer service.

Well Brendan you were right. Following 5 seperate emails telling me the funds would be returned in a few working days and me returning an email asking where were my funds they arrived in my account today.
