Just wondering if anyone has got any good deals on semi solid oak flooring recently. Any help or information appreciated
 
I recently bought semi solid oak flooring in Morriseys Builders providers in Waterford for €13 odd per sq yard.
No affiliation with them - just a happy customer!
 
Excuse my ignorance, but what is meant by semi-solid flooring?

We have oak and beech block floors laid on concrete downstairs and have refitted our bathroom with solid oak boards laid onto joists.

By any chance do you remember the brand of the semi-solid you got in Morriseys? Might see if I can get a price for the same here in Galway.
 
I went up to Irwins in CastleBlaney the weekend and got two variants of solid oak for €16.95 and €19.95 a square yard excellent prices there.
 
Eire ill c if i can dig up the name of the flooring tonight at home - not sure if i have any packets of it left but will try to get the name from the invoice!
