My Partner is selfemployed and has recently had bother with a lender regards a mortgage, they asked him for payslips which obviously he doesnt have.
He does all his tax returns himself so no need for an accountant, will this go against him?
Who are the best people to approach for a self employed person?
Thanks All!

As long as he can produce 2/3 years Revenue balancing certificates (roughly equivalent to a P60) and 6 months bank statements this will suffice as proof of income.

There are lenders out there that will accept 3 to 6 month current account statments as proof of income for self certing.
