Ad on page two of Sunday Independent for Seat Ibiza priced at €10,950. Not on Seat website. Is this a good deal?

Hi Oldtimer. It would depend on the year, mileage, condition etc. If you go to www.carzone.ie you'll get a very good idea of what's what. I had a quick peep and some'06/'07 models are making that kind of money.

Good Cars - I had a 96 one and 02 one - never any problems with either.

This is a brand new car for €10,950. The ad is hard to read but it looks like the 1.2 Costa petrol model, not sure if 3 door or 5 door. A friend of mine bought one last year and gave me a trial drive - it feels quite good and has quite a few extras as standard. Also qualifies for cheap motor tax - €154 per year I think. Isn't there a VW engine in them. Seems good value to me.

3 cylinder VW engine same as the 1.2 Polo, but very hard on the go-go juice.
