RTB late registrations

Is it possible to back register a RTB registration to cover a number of different tenants, none of whom are now tenants. Important as tax returns are now being submitted and want to deduct interest as an expense (not allowed if RTB not up to date).

Keep it simple and register one tenancy & pay any extra fees required.

Yes you can do this. I'd be more worried about your tax returns being late though !

You can claim back the extra landlord bit if you have social welfare tenants. The years where you couldn't claim the 100%.

There was some crazy rule that you had to send the RTB some document about this, which I did. Late. And was refused by revenue. Because I was late. And then later got a letter from revenue allowing it.
