If replacing the well-past-their-best-before-date c1930 timber sash windows on a terraced house with uPVC sash, would anyone have suggestions on the uPVC colour?

Options are;
a) plain white
b) white foil (white with a timber grain effect)
c) plain cream
d) light oak (not sure if timber grain effect or not)

Which do you think would be most in keeping with a terraced house of this era?

Thanks!

I see cream windows seem to becoming fashionable now but IMO they always look terrible. For the kind of house you are describing I would think plain white is best. I don't think the faux woodgrain pvc is very convincing, and the oak-look is particularly bad I think, especially a whole house of it.
