Wonder if someone can help me out. My wife and i are looking into renting out our house which we bought 3 years ago. We both had secure well paid jobs until i found out I will be redundant in 3 months and we have no option but to move out of our home and try and rent it out. We have spoken to a few rental agencies and they reckon if we are lucky we may get about 850 a month in rent. Our mortgage is 1300 a month at the moment but if we lose our tax relief it will go up to 1600 a month. Considering we are doing everything we can not to lose the house itself, is there any helplines or any threads to help out people like ourselves, we would definetely be able to supplement the mortgage at 1300 but if it goes up to 1600 we will still be struggling??
