Rental Income - allowable exps

Hi,
I am closing today on a property I was letting. Sitting tenant is buying that.
Can I use Solicitors/EA´s fees as allowable exps against 2015 Rental Income? Surely I can as the property is now an investment property?

I would have thought the legal fees relate exclusively to the disposal of the property and would therefore not be available against the income of the property.

You would get a deduction for CGT purposes.
