Rental Charges on Shared Ownership Scheme

I'd like to hear your opinion on the annual increase of the rental equity of Shared Ownership properties. Surely with rents falling everywhere, this should no longer be applied automatically each July.

The Dept of the Environment are responsible for this & I think we should all be lobbying them to reverse this procedure. Any ideas?
 
As far as I can remember they did not put up the rent last July and I hope to God they don't put it up this July. If anything, they might reduce it?
