Family renewal on 1st Feb 2020
Currently with Laya healthcare on the Control 300 Create policy - before renewing is there any other policy you would recommend?
Day to Day expenses are currently the priority for us - we currently recoup for dental, optical, gp visits, physio and acupuncture.

I have spoken with Laya and the suggested alternatives are : Precision 300 Create & Precision 600 Create - anything similar with other providers?

Hi mar,

The create range have slightly better day to day benefits, compared to those with a 50% standard refund.
However, just to point out that the Precision plans have a restricted list of private hospitals compared to the Control plans.
For example, in Dublin the hospitals that you would lose are Bons Secours Dublin, St Vincents Private Dublin 4, Hampstead Clinic,
St John of God and Highfield hospital.
Its important to check the list of private hospitals covered, to make sure they suit your location.

Laya Inspire plan @ 1140pa covers all public, private and 3 hi-tech hospitals as before. A private room in a private hospital is not covered.
Lower excess 150 per admission and 50 per day case. Day to day cover may not be as high as the 'create' plans.

There are no other similar plans with other providers.
