I recently bought a new wireless mouse and keyboard but cannot install them on the PC because I am unable to uninstall the existing wired mouse and keyboard.

I cannot seem to locate them in my 'Add or Remove' section of the control panel. Anyone have any ideas what I could do?

Did you get a mouse a keyboard and a "dongle" with the new stuff? Usually all that's needed is to plug the "dongle" into a spare USB or serial port and the computer asks about an add/remove hardware or software CD. When it finishes, just unplug the old stuff; there should be no need for an un-install as such.

as already posted did you get a dongle with new keyboard and mouse? You should not have to remove old keyboard etc. If you did not get a dongle does your pc have a built in blue tooth ariel to 'talk' to key board and mouse?

yea that workd, plugged the donglein and away it went, thanks, it said on instructions i had to uninstall existing mouse so that threw me a bit at first
