Girlfriend's company is closing down, company is offering 3 Weeks on top of statutory for the time they've run the business - 5 Years. G/F has worked in the business for 9 Years total, 5 with current employers & 4 with previous owners - no link between the owners but the business has the same name & carrys out the same business.
She is recieving 9 years statutory entitlement plus the current companys 3 weeks x 5 years additional. G/F is happy with this but the union rep is recommending that she (+others) are entitled to get 3 extra weeks from the current owenrs for every one of the previous 4 years worked also, anyone expierenced this situation previously.
