Recommend Optician Cork City, East Cork area

Hi all,

I need to get my eyes tested and new glasses over the next few months.

I was just wondering if anyone could recommend an optician in the Cork city, East Cork area.

Any information would be great.

I go to Dr Traynor on Lavitts Qauy, above Egans. I find him very thorough.

I recently used EyeDeal up by the airport. They only have a limited selection of frames but I chose to use them as they were able to provide high index lenses at a reasonable price. My prescription is minus 8 and my high index lenses are normally around 300-400 euro. I got them in EyeDeal for 150.
If the cost of the lenses is the biggest factor you can bring them in a pair of frames and they will provide the lenses. Basic but good service and parking no problem.
