Rates a java developer, 6 years of exp in telecom, web dev, web services, xml, j2?

Does any one have any ideas what sort of rates a java developer with 6 years of exp in telecom, web dev, web services, xml, j2ee etc should be expecting?

There is a salary survey you can download at www.cpl.ie
A rate for 6 years experience should be in the region 350 - 400 a day depending on ability of course.

Thanks for the replies Dell_Boy. Do you know if these are the acutal rates or are the actual rates ppl are getting lower - am just wondering if these figures are put out by the recruitment agencies with an eye to attracting cvs.

I know developers on 350 - 400 alright. not many on over that though.
