Public address systems.

Hard to believe that engineers have managed to put men on the moon and yet cannot design a public address system that actually works .
I’m lucky to have passed through quite a few airports and train stations over the years and generally all public addresses are followed by people looking vacantly around with a “ what the xxxxx was that “ expression. You would think they would have mastered the technology by now.

I find airports are normally fine, as are train stations. Sports stadiums are another thing altogether, either deafened by bad music or I have no idea what they are saying. Tallaght stadium is one example of the latter.
