Universal Social Charge on net rental profits is 7%

In 2014 the PRSI charge on net rental profits will be 4%

Follow on question.
Will the PRSI charge on net rental profits, apply to all the profits or only above a certain level?
I have PAYE income and rent out my former home.

There is for some reason no charge to PRSI on unearned income at the moment.

Chargeable persons people with non PAYE income over €3,174 will be charged PRSI on all their income from 01.01.14. If you have income of less than €3,174 then a Form 12 is the form to file.
