PRSI anomaly?

Hi,

My wife works part time and earns 1567 monthly on this she pays 62 euro prsi...if she cut a couple hours off she would earn 1520 which I believe would bring her under the prsi ceiling of 1525(352 per week)...therefore she would pay no prsi and actually come out better in her net pay? Is this correct or am I missing something ?
Also If she does this , would any possible benefits like maternity etc be affected ?

Your missing nothing. By taking a modest paycut you actually gain monies.

It would not affect benefits.
