Property Tax Consultant

I am renting out an apartment and want to complete my tax return for last year soon. I have been looking for a tax consultant to help with the tax return and answer a few questions that I have. The people I have spoken to so far quote around €750 - €1000 for completing the return. This seems a bit steep to me. Is this the going rate for a tax consultation? Is there some cheaper way to get help when doing tax returns?

Yes - talk directly to Revenue - they are very helpful. BUT - a tax advisor may or may not be better at advising you and helping you in arranging/dealing with your affairs. It is not Revenue's function to advise you.
