My work has paid my subs for the last five years, however they now have said there not paying them no more. With all the reductions i cannot afford. I've no written contract. Is anyone in the same situation and how did you deal with it?
 
Ooops I had not read the title and see you refer to Professional Subs.

Is your Qualification vital for the work you do? If yes, and your employer has been paying you probably could ask (nicely ) that they continue paying.

If not, perhaps your employer could pay and you forego some salary. That would help his costs and maybe not be as onerous on you
