I am coming to the end of a 4yr 11 month lease and my landlord has told me that i need to close or vacate the building for a month so as to be able to start a new lease agreement.Is this the correct way?as he seems very unsure himself,leaving the building or closing for a month would be crazy as machinery is involved and stock(industrial building)>I presume he just doesn't want me to be entitled to a long lease if i stay the full five years,so what usually happens?Close for a day and just start the new lease a day or two after the old one?
