I recently bought a new Dell Vostro laptop and new Dell vostro desktop. My old laptop is a fujitsu siemens model on which I've been using O2 broadband with no problems for over 18 months. I only got around to setting upp the 2 new ones lately but having problems with the BB. On the laptop I installed it and it worked fine the first few times but now it won't even 'find' the modem when i launch it.
The desktop finds it ok but even though i have at least HSDPA coverage the browser (internet explorer) is unbelievably slow. On the fujitsu with the same coverage it's very fast.
Anyone have any ideas why this is happening? I even tried using the double USB connection but no joy. I'm a complete computer idiot by the way so the jargon goes over my head!! Thanks in advance
