Problem with boiler?

Hi all

we have a Centaurplus II Glow Worm Micron 50FF boiler - woke up yesterday, no radiators on, house was freezing. Have attempted to reset the boiler several times, no joy. Have only had it for about two and a half years, surely it shouldn't be having any problems yet??

Any ideas how to fix it??

SOme boilers can give trouble in this time .....stupid I know...

As regards fixing it, not a job to be undertaken yourself, too many risk factors.....and to even try fault find for you, you would have to describe the problem, not just ..boiler not working!

thanks for answering. Sue Ellen - no we haven't had it serviced, sorry bit clueless about this, thought as it was brand new we wouldn't have to have it serviced for a few years?? :eek:

Dgobs - Ok thanks - we've heard a few fairly loud rattling noises coming from somewhere as well which is not boding well so have rung someone to come out and look at it tomorrow.

In the meantime, we're buying a lot of firebags :)

It needs to be serviced every year.
 
Ok thanks guys - turned out it was an airlock, two guys came around yesterday to fix it. Thank God for heating!!!
