problem connecting lnc uni q2 quad lnb

Hi Folks,
I recenlty purchased a grundig universal quatro lnb off ebay and went to install it yesterday. The reason was to connect up a second reciever. After disconnecting the old single lnb and fitting the quad lnb the signal would only come in at different position for both itv and bbc. When I could get the angle correct on itv I lost it for bbc and vice versa. There are 4 outputs marked HH,HL,VH &VL. Do I need a motor for this type of lnb. Sorry for going on but the more detail the better. Can anyone help.
 
I'd guess that your outputs are Vertical high and low and Horizontal high and low, which suggests the the LNB is intended for a multi user setup like an apartment block, which means it won't work with normal receivers.

Try googling "multiswitch units."
