Price Stone Chippings?

Looking to get stone chippings for our driveway. I need aprox 30 tonnes to cover the area to depth required. Ideally looking for something like 15-20mm in a light golden colour. Have priced a couple of places and am being quoted aprox. €70 + vat per tonne or there abouts, which is working out at just over €2k.

Can any recommend anywhere that might be cheaper? Based in Wicklow.

Stone Chippings

In case it's any help to anyone, got 30 tonnes of very nice quartz stone chippings from a company called Cranford Stone based in Co. Donegal.

Excellent quality stone, very good value and they were a pleasure to deal with. Their website is http://www.cranfordstone.com/ . No association, other than a very happy customer. Highly recommend them.
