finbar: cant give definitive answer as I had a look at Portugal recently too but it appears to be arund the 1% per annum mark. think I saw that in last weeks Sunday Times, financial section. ( having said that they were off the wall in their reply to a query on the vodaphone share payout due in august and also recent enquires about avcs etc to the same columnist)
